Andrew S. Yoo, Esq.

Global Immigration Partners, PLLC

Of Counsel – U.S. Immigration Attorney

Andrew S. Yoo is an immigration attorney with more than 15 years of experience advising startups, growing companies, multinational corporations, executives, and professionals across a wide spectrum of employment-based and investment-based immigration matters. His practice includes E-2 investor and employee visas, L-1A multinational executives and managers, L-1B specialized knowledge employees, EB-1C multinational manager immigrant petitions, and PERM-based EB-2/EB-3 filings. He also handles O-1 extraordinary ability cases, H-1B specialty occupation petitions, EB-5 matters, consular processing, waivers, and naturalization applications. In addition to his business immigration work, Andrew represents clients in family-based immigration matters, including marriage-based green card applications and complex international marriage cases.

Andrew works extensively with clients ranging from early-stage startups to global enterprises, including numerous IT, software, and high-tech companies seeking to expand or relocate key talent to the United States. Earlier in his career, he gained experience at an Am Law 100 firm in Silicon Valley, supporting large-scale litigation projects involving complex corporate and technology-related materials. This background provides him with a deep understanding of how modern businesses—particularly technology-driven companies—operate, including their product lifecycles, organizational structures, and technical workflows. He applies this insight when advising clients on L-1A/L-1B strategies, E-2 essential skills, EB-1C multinational manager filings, and other immigration pathways where business models, corporate hierarchy, and technical roles must be precisely articulated.

Andrew is known for his strategic planning, careful documentation, and ability to navigate evolving adjudication trends across USCIS and consular posts worldwide. In addition to his professional experience, he is personally familiar with the U.S. immigration process, which allows him to better understand the challenges clients face and to provide practical, empathetic guidance throughout their cases.
